An Infamous Costco Product May Be Gone Forever
Costco's cheapest beer may be gone, despite its weird cult following.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Perhaps the most famous beer* sold at Costco stores may have gone extinct. Kirkland Signature Light, which sold for $22 per 48-pack, has disappeared from store shelves, according to The Takeout.
A manager at a Costco store told a Takeout reporter the beer had been discontinued nationwide. Costco HQ did not respond to a request to confirm whether Kirkland Signature Light is, in fact, extinct.
The beer holds a troubling 2-1/2 star rating on Beer Advocate, with reviewers commenting that it "tastes like battery acid" and "it is a shame they even put the word beer on the can."

But the beer has some devoted fans.
Earlier this year, the internet found out about Randy Colpek, a Bear Creek, Calif., man who made a series of fake ads praising Kirkland Signature Light.

"Kirkland Light: it's 11 a.m. somewhere!" Colpek notes.
