Driver Hits 2 Sammamish Workers Monday Morning [UPDATE]
The two workers were part of a crew working along 244th Avenue Northeast.

SAMMAMISH, WA - Two workers hit by a driver Monday morning along 244th Avenue Northeast. The city of Sammamish reported the accident around 8:45 a.m. Monday. One of the workers was seriously injured and taken to Harborview Medical Center, and the second worker's injuries were described as not significant.
According to the city, the accident happened along the 2400 block of 244th Avenue Northeast. That location is south of SR 202 near the Christa McAuliffe Elementary School.
Around 9:15 a.m., the city announced that 244th would be closed due to an investigation. According to KIRO 7, the King County Sheriff's Office has not yet made any arrests. The station also reported that the workers were not employed by the city, but were
