Early Morning Fire Burns Sammamish Home

The fire broke out just before 1:30 a.m. Thursday along Southeast 24th Street.

SAMMAMISH, WA — A fire destroyed a home in Sammamish along Southeast 24th Street early Thursday morning, according to authorities.

The fire was reported just before 1:30 a.m. near 24th and 200th Avenue Southeast. Three people were inside the home at the time of the fire but were able to escape.

Eastside Fire officials told KIRO 7 that the fire was likely electrical. The fire spread from the home's garage to the main structure.
