Lockdown At Eastside Catholic School Lifted
Police were investigating "suspicious circumstances" at the school on Friday afternoon.

SAMMAMISH, WA - A lockdown at Eastside Catholic in Sammamish was lifted just before 4:30 p.m. Friday. The school was locked down for a brief person due to "suspicious circumstances" near the schools, according to police.
After the lockdown was lifted, Sammamish police wrote on Twitter that a person of interest was located in a different city. Parents were being allowed on campus to pick up their kids.
The school is located at 232 228th Ave Southeast. Just under 1,000 students attend Eastside Catholic, which includes middle and high school levels.

Eastside Catholic School is currently under lockdown. The Sammamish Police Department is on scene in response to suspicious circumstances. No specific updates are available at this time. Police are present to protect students and staff.
