Drug Use and Our Kids: A Community Discussion

“Drug Use and Our Kids: The Neurological, Developmental and Social Realities Associated with Youth Drug Use and Abuse,” a community discussion, will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. May 2 at Clark Elementary Library, 500 2nd Ave. S.E.

The speakers include:

• Jerry Blackburn, Chemical Dependency professional and faculty member in the Chemical Dependency Counseling program at Bellevue College
• Karin Weihe, the Issaquah Police Department’s Student Resource Officer (SRO) for the school district

Learn more about the prevalence of alcohol/drug use by our youth, and the effects this has on their learning, development and success.
