Did you know that prescription drugs kill more people in Washington State than all other drugs combined? Every year, 18,000 people are admitted to hospital emergency rooms in our state due to prescription drug addiction and overdoses. The King County Board of Health is considering starting a county-wide medicine take back program so we can easily and safely dispose of leftover drugs in our medicine cabinets.
