Woman Robbed Sammamish Bank With A Note: Police

The robbery happened Tuesday afternoon at a Wells Fargo branch.

SAMMAMISH, WA - A bank robbery in Sammamish this week was carried out by a young woman who was not armed, according to police. The robbery happened just before 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Wells Fargo branch at the Klahanie Shopping Center, 4592 Klahanie Drive Southeast.

According to a tweet posted by Sammamish police, the King County major crimes unit was called to investigate, and the case may be referred to the FBI for additional help.

King County Sgt. Ryan Abbott said the robber is a white woman in her 20s or 30s who was wearing all black at the time of the crime.
