Free Entry To All WA State Parks This Weekend
The free day this weekend is one of three coming up in June, according to the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission.

ISSAQUAH, WA — Saturday is the first of three free-entry days at Washington State Parks in June. This weekend's free day is in honor of National Trails day.
Usually, state park users have to have an annual Discover Pass or a day pass to park at state park lands. But this weekend allows hikers to skip that $30 Discover Pass (or $10 day pass) fee. The free days also apply to state lands that are not designated state parks. You'll still have to pay for entry to federal lands, however.
The next two free days will happen on June 8 for National Get Outdoors Day, and then June 9 for the state Department of Fish and Wildlife's Free Fishing Weekend. After June, there are just three free days left in 2019: Aug. 25 for the National Park Service birthday; Sept. 28 for National Public Lands Day; and Nov. 11 for Veterans Day.
