  • Where/When: 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Sunday, March 4, at in Sammamish.
  • Why Go: The Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra invites you to an afternoon or evening of musical delights at Eastlake High. Never heard them? Check out this YouTube clip to get an idea of what you’ll hear.
  • Cost: Tickets range between $10 and $12.

Issaquah First Friday Wine Walk

  • Where/When: Prepaid Check-in at 4 p.m. March 2, Wine Walk from 5 – 8 p.m.
  • Why Go: Issaquah Wine Walk is a new First Friday evening event in Downtown Issaquah that is fun and supports the community. Enjoy wines from small, local boutique wineries poured in various designated tasting locations up and down Front Street. A portion of the proceeds benefit the Downtown Issaquah Association (DIA) and valued nonprofit partners. 2012 recipients include ArtEast, FISH and Village Theatre.
  • Cost:  $20 in advance or $25 day of event (includes six 2 oz. drink tokens). Additional Token purchase will be $6.00 for 2 tokens with a wristband.

  • Where/When: 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at in Bellevue.
  • Why Go: Join the wonderfully goofy Eric Ode for a night of music, stories, skits and puppets at the KidsQuest Children’s Museum. The winner of five Parents' Choice Awards, Eric Ode will have you singing along to the tunes of pirates, cowpokes, farm folks and more!
  • Cost: $10 for members and $12 for non-members. Save $2 by purchasing in advance.

  • Where/When: 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 2, at the .
  • Why Go: Come out to the KPC as Italy's three most successful solo guitarists unite to create a concert experience like no other. Pino Forastiere, Stefano Barone and Sergio Altamura will be slamming, banging and plucking their instruments in ways you couldn’t imagine. Here’s a sneak peak of what you’re in for. Enjoy the show!
  • Cost: $30-$35

  • Where/When: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the .
  • Why Go: Looking for some new tips or ideas for your home garden? Make it out to the Woodinville Library and pick up some gently used gardening books. Titles include garden design, plant selection and care, coffee table books, essays and readings, environmentally friendly gardening, and more.
  • Cost: Most prices are $1 per book for hardbacks and large paperbacks. Proceeds will benefit programs at Woodinville Library.

  • Where/When: 10 a.m.-12 p.m. on Saturday, March 3, at the in Redmond.
  • Why Go: Walk the trails of the Preserve, help with a forest restoration project, and learn more about the natural history of the Preserve. Meet at the parking lot on the south side of the park off Novelty Hill Road. Remember to dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes.
