Give Input On Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Project

The project will add improvements like bike lanes, sidewalks, and turning lanes.

The City of Sammamish: The City of Sammamish announced today the next phase of a significant road project aimed at improving traffic flow and safety for all users. This project will improve Issaquah-Pine Lake Road SE to an urban three-lane cross section with curb, gutter, sidewalk, bike lanes, landscape strips, and either center turn lanes or median islands. The project limits are SE Klahanie Boulevard to SE 32nd Way.

Engineering preliminary design is currently underway and community input is now being requested to give the public an opportunity to review the preliminary roadway design, learn how to stay involved, ask questions and talk to project staff, and help inform the final design.

“Whenever we have a project of this scale, we want to make sure we have multiple ways for community members to participate,” explained Interim City Manager, Larry Patterson. “We recognize not everyone will be able to attend an in-person meeting on a Wednesday evening, so in addition to our community open house, we will also launch an online open house to engage more residents and others in the area.”
