Fire Damages Sammamish House, No Injuries Reported

A home near Pine Lake was damaged by a fire that began in a nearby shed.

SAMMAMISH, WA - A home in the Audubon Park development was damaged by a fire Tuesday afternoon, but no injuries were reported, according to Eastside Fire and Rescue. Firefighters from Redmond and Bellevue also responded to help put out the fire.

According to firefighters, units responded to a property along the 23200 block of Southeast 27th Street around 1:45 p.m. The fire began in a shed on the property, eventually spreading to a wooden fence and the main house.

The fire entered the home's attic and second story, but no one was home. No firefighters were injured.
