Human Waste Spill Closes I-90 For Hours
WSDOT had to break out snow plows to clear the mess off the highway near Issaquah on Sunday afternoon.

ISSAQUAH, WA — WSDOT crews spent hours Sunday afternoon flushing human waste off the eastbound lanes of I-90 near the SR 900 interchange. That's after a truck driver crashed after falling asleep behind the wheel, according to Washington State Patrol.
The driver was heading eastbound around 11 a.m. when he nodded off, started to veer off the road, and then over-corrected, toppling his truck. The truck was hauling fertilizer made of human waste, so at least the stuff wasn't in its purest form.
The highway partially reopened around 2 p.m. after WSDOT brought snow plows to the scene. The truck driver was not injured, and there were no other vehicles involved in the crash.
