I-90 Lanes Closed Due To Poor Conditions, Spinouts
The first significant snow event of the season was hitting the Snoqualmie Pass area hard on Friday.

NORTH BEND, WA - Eastbound I-90 was fully closed around 6 p.m. Friday due to poor road conditions and multiple spin-outs.
The closure was in the area of exit 47 at Granite Mountain, just a few miles east of Snoqualmie Pass. Washington State Patrol did not immediately say when the eastbound lanes would reopen.
A little farther north at Stevens Pass, snow chains were required for all vehicles without all-wheel drive. Chains were required for westbound travel across Snoqualmie Pass.

Traffic alert! EB I-90 is fully closed at MP 47. Troopers are working with DOT to assist multiple vehicles that have spun out. There is currently no ETA on reopening. Avoid the area of you can. Be patient if you’re stuck in traffic. Thanks!
