Issaquah Greenhouse Explosion Leaves Homeowner Injured

Eastside fire reported the incident around 6 p.m. Thursday.

ISSAQUAH, WA - One man was injured in a greenhouse fire Thursday night south of Issaquah, according to Eastside fire.

The fire was reported around 6 p.m. along the 14200 block of Issaquah Hobart Road, which is just south of Squak Mountain. The man was working in his greenhouse when the structure caught fire due to a "gas line malfunction," according to Eastside fire.

The homeowner was flown to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle. The helicopter flight was due to heavy traffic, according to KOMO News.
