Issaquah PD Warns Of Rise In Gym Thefts

Police have seen an increase in locker room thefts in Issaquah.

ISSAQUAH, WA — Issaquah police are warning local gym-goers about an increase in thefts from locker rooms.

The thieves are targeting men's and women's locker rooms at health clubs around the city. Typically, the thieves will search for credit or debit cards to steal, then use those cards at local stores. The thieves are stealing from locked and unlocked lockers, police said.

Police say that gym users should leave valuables at home and keep valuables with you as you exercise — including car keys, credit cards, and IDs.
