Issaquah: Pick Up Free Masks At Pickering Barn Tuesday

King County is will hand out free, reusable cloth masks at a drive-thru event at Pickering Barn on Tuesday afternoon.

ISSAQUAH, WA — King County residents can pick up reusable masks for the whole family at a free, drive-thru distribution event at Issaquah's Pickering Barn on Tuesday.

When: Tuesday, Aug. 25 (1 p.m. - 5 p.m.)
Where: Pickering Barn (1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah)

All King County residents are eligible to receive masks, and can request two for each member of the household — up to a dozen total. Visitors should enter the parking lot and drive toward the Amazon Treasure Truck.

"Wearing a face covering is an act of compassion," said Issaquah Mayor Mary Lou Pauly. "It shows you care about our community, local businesses and front-line workers. We're excited to partner with King County to ensure every community member has several face coverings readily available."

The county purchased 25 million disposable and reusable face coverings to distribute to local community members and organizations amid the continuing coronavirus pandemic. If you miss Tuesday's event, the county also delivered 750,000 cloth masks to 59 Safeway stores throughout King County, which are free to all shoppers.
