Issaquah Woman's Body Found In Olympic National Park

Kathryn Grace Kennedy, 57, was found near Hurricane Ridge on July 2.

ISSAQUAH, WA - The body of a woman found inside the Olympic National Park has been identified as Kathryn Grace Kennedy, 57. Kennedy was found on July 2 near Hurricane Ridge at the bottom of Obstruction Point Road.

Although Kennedy was found in Clallam County, the King County Medical Examiner is conducting an autopsy to determine how she died, according to the Peninsula Daily News.

According to the report, a passerby spotted Kennedy's body about 200 feet down an embankment off Obstruction Point Road. Park rangers repelled down and retrieved her.

Two other bodies have been found inside the park recently. Zach Krull, 20, an Evergreen State College student from New Jersey, was found on July 1; William Woodson, 60, of Kingston, was found on July 2, and likely died of a heart attack.
