Hercules the neighborhood visiting cat whom we took in two winters ago as a stray has gone missing. He's known to walk around the neighborhood visiting with neighbors, even entering homes with and without permission. He will also enter garages and storage spaces so please check your spaces for him. He has hyperthyroidism and requires medication which is getting more urgent the longer he's missing. He is approx 15 lbs, has polydactyl paws in front which means he has extra toes that almost looks like extra paw on one side. He is orange and white with a white chin and bent tail tip that is white.

If you see him and can lure him with wet cat food into a space for him, we will pickup and pay for any trouble he has caused in food and litter supplies. He is an indoor outdoor cat so we have heard that he often roams with the ladies of the neighborhood walking with them, saying hello, even entering homes that he's been let into and prefers carpeted floors.

He is capable of climbing trees as he's been up a tree after being chased by a neighborhood dog but he's also got long enough nails to get himself down.

We would appreciate everyone's eyes out as you come and go, especially at dawn and just before dusk when he loves to go out, roam and meander the area around Sundance, across the street, Tanglewood, Challenger Elementary school area, etc. He really gets around so I'm hoping someone who is out walking/biking/driving will spot him or you will realize he's been staying warm in your garage, storage space, or patio.

We adopted him as a stray b/c it was cold like this past week. He's microchipped but not registered with a name. If you can't care for him, take him to alpine and ask them to call us. They are aware that he is missing as is Meadows Animal Hospital. Thanks so much for allowing me to pass this on. Please tell your neighbors and pass the word around.
