Multiple Semitrailers Crash On SR 18 During Snow Squall
The crash happened just before 2:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of SR 18.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Several semitrailers crashed in the westbound lanes of SR 18 Monday afternoon amid a sudden deluge of snow.
The crash happened near the Issaquah-Hobart Road exit, according to WSDOT. The westbound lanes were closed as of 4 p.m., but traffic was able to get around the scene by taking taking the Issaquah-Hobart exit and getting back on using the on-ramp.
Eastside fire crews were on the scene and were asking drivers to avoid the area. One of the semi drivers was injured in the crash after getting his let stuck.

Although it was snowing around 2:30 p.m., the weather was expected to change to rain closer to the evening rush hour, possibly washing away some snow.
Eastbound SR 18 was also closed for a brief period Monday after a situation involving a car and a semi. That incident was cleared by 3:45 p.m.
