Paraglider Airlifted After Accident On Tiger Mountain
Eastside Fire and Rescue said one person was injured in a paragliding accident Sunday afternoon.
ISSAQUAH, WA — One person was injured Sunday afternoon in a paragliding accident on Tiger Mountain, according to firefighters.
Eastside Fire and Rescue said medics called in air support to help evacuate the patient from Poo Poo Point, south of Issaquah, around 2:30 p.m. Information on the extent of the person's injuries was not immediately released.
Firefighters said, after a lengthy rescue operation, the patient was succesfully placed on an airlift helicopter and transported to a local hospital, shortly before 4:30 p.m.
