NORTH BEND, WA - A 27-year-old pregnant woman from Moses Lake died in a crash along I-90 Sunday night, and police believe that speed may have been a factor.

Alyssa Helfenstein was a passenger in a car traveling eastbound along I-90 around 7:30 p.m. Sunday. At the time, hail and snow was falling in the area. Just west of North Bend, the 2005 Mitsubishi Galant driven by Danny Helfenstein, 31, left the roadway and crashed 20 feet down an embankment.

Helfenstein sustained minor injuries, and his 3 and 5-year-old children were taken to Harborview in Seattle for treatment of minor injuries.
