Power Outage Hits Issaquah School District
The outage south of Squak Mountain State Park has closed an elementary school.
RENTON, WA - Puget Sound Energy reported a power outage Monday morning affecting a small area south of May Valley Road. The outage is in Renton, but closed one school in the Issaquah School District - Maple Hills Elementary - early.
About 52 PSE customers in the area are affected by the outage, which was caused by a car accident. PSE says that power could be restored as soon as 1 p.m. The outage is contained to an area between 145th Street and Maple Hills Park.
