Salyna Gracie Named ArtEast Executive Director
Experienced Arts Leader to Head Unique Art Center

Salyna Gracie was named Executive Director of ArtEast, its Board of Directors announced Monday.
Salyna Gracie has over 25 years of experience in the performing and visual arts and is the former executive director of the Confluence Gallery and Art Center in Twisp, Washington, and, more recently, as director of BRIO Art Center in Bellevue. She has extensive background as an administrator, self-employed business owner and working artist. Gracie received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from George Washington University.
ArtEast Board President Michael Klink said, “Salyna’s diversity of arts experience and deep knowledge of the regional art world has impressed those with whom she has worked. She has been successful in building and growing multi-media art spaces to support working artists while serving and engaging local communities. We are very happy to have her take this leadership position at ArtEast.”

Located in Issaquah, ArtEast is a vibrant catalyst that brings artists and the community together. A unique art center for learning, inspiration, support, and celebration of visual arts, ArtEast is the only nonprofit artist collective of its kind serving the Eastside region. The center is home to a juried gallery of 40 local artists and is a friendly community of both working artists and those just starting out. ArtEast provides art education programs with beginning to professional-level classes. Additionally, community outreach programs bring free art experiences to the community at large.
