Luckily, it's not exactly swimming weather outside. The beach will be retested next week to see if it can be reopened.

SAMMAMISH, WA — King County has closed the swimming beach at Sammamish's Pine Lake due to high bacteria levels. The beach will likely remain closed until next week, when the water can be tested again.

The closure happened on Wednesday afternoon after King County found that the average bacteria level of the last three tests exceeded acceptable levels.

The test found about 233 colony-forming units (CFU) of bacteria per 100 milliliters of water. The maximum is 200 CFU when averaging water samples.
