Sammamish Chamber Women in Business Luncheon

Join us for an informative and inspiring talk on Friday March 11th, with writer and editor Beáta Jachulski Baker.

Topic: “Make Sure the Truths You are Living are Real – and Yours”

Roman emperor Marcus Aurelius said, “Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not the truth.” Writer and editor Beáta Jachulski Baker recounts three instances when she found this to be particularly true, and how it changed her perception on other people’s “authority” going forward in her own life and career.

Beáta has enjoyed a portfolio career that includes work upon the stage, behind the scenes, on the printed page, and online. She has been an actress and writer in Detroit, New York, and Atlanta; was closely associated with Microsoft for 10 years as a trade show presentation specialist and scriptwriter; and relished a five-year stint as senior editor and head writer for Wyndham Vacation Ownership. Her company, Ursa Minor Media, Inc., has helped guide clients in their business theatre needs since 1993. As a “theatrical Swiss Army knife,” Beáta prides herself on successfully meeting any challenge presented to her in a fast, fun, and fearless manner.
