Sammamish Development Moratorium Hearing March 6

The Sammamish City Council will hold a development meeting on the moratorium on March 6th.

SAMMAMISH-ISSAQUAH, NY - From The City of Sammamish: A Public Hearing regarding the extension of the City of Sammamish’s current development moratorium will occur during the City Council’s Regular Business Meeting on Tuesday, March 6, at 6:30 p.m.

The development moratorium, in effect since October 4, 2017, is currently set to expire on April 2, 2018. After the Public Hearing, the Council will consider the adoption of an Ordinance to extend the development moratorium for an additional six months beyond the current expiration date. This extension could allow for the Council to complete work on policies and codes related to traffic concurrency. Should the Council complete their work earlier than the extended deadline, the Ordinance can be repealed, which in effect would "lift" the development moratorium.
