Sammamish Disaster Preparedness Fair Happens Soon
Learn how to prepare for emergencies ranging from a fire in your house to earthquakes.
SAMMAMISH, WA — The annual Sammamish Disaster Preparedness Fair is coming up in a few weeks, offering locals a chance to learn about how to prepare for everything from an accidental poisoning to the area's seismic risks.
Last year, about 1,000 people attended the fair, which is held at the Central Washington University campus in Sammamish. The fair kicks off at 9 a.m. on Sept. 7 this year.
