Sammamish Officials React To Racist Graffiti
Neighbors are banding together to find the person who did it, and speak out against hate.
SAMMAMISH, WA - Homes, fences, and cars were tagged with racist graffiti in the Klahanie neighborhood on Wednesday, according to reports, and now neighbors are working together to find out who did it - and stand up against hate.
The racist graffiti was found early Wednesday morning along 252nd Ave Southeast, according to KOMO News. Some residents found out about it when police knocked on their door looking for witnesses.
One neighbor told KOMO that they went around putting flowers near where the racist graffiti was found. Resident Amy Myhre told KOMO she wanted to "share a message of positivity." Other neighbors are hoping to find home surveillance video that captured an image of the person who did it.
