Sammamish Residents: Need a Great Escape? Try Gold Class Cinemas in Redmond.
Great Escape offers Sammamish residents a chance to unwind (at least for a bit) from a busy week. We've all worked hard.

When was the last time the movie choice was one you wanted to see, instead of your children? If it is hard to remember, grab your spouse or girlfriends and head to Redmond. Tucked away on the upper level of Redmond Town Center, you’ll find Gold Class Cinemas.
The cinemas are a new concept and give people who are at least 21 years old, the chance to "escape" from the hum drum of regular movie theaters. From the moment you step into the foyer and head to the lounge and bar area, you will be reminded that this isn’t a regular movie experience.

The seats are plush and completely recline. In between every two seats, there is a table to enjoy your food and drinks. Every chair has a call button for wait service and the option for a blanket and pillow is available, too.
Tickets are pricey ($27) but there are specials on certain days. There's a free membership that provides discounts from Sunday through Thursday. Check online for more information. All tickets include bottomless sodas as well as one free popcorn.
While enjoying the show, many different menu items are available including appetizers, entrees and dessert. In addition to soda, alcoholic drinks can be purchased. One insider tip before you go: Plan to arrive 30 minutes early to put in your order for food so it is ready when the show starts.
If you live in Sammamish and are feeling the need to "escape," the good news is you don’t have to go far to feel like you are having a true vacation - at least for the evening.
