Woman On Bike Crashes Outside Sammamish Elementary School
The crash happened before noon on Tuesday outside Discovery Elementary, according to fire officials.
SAMMAMISH, WA — A woman was seriously injured Tuesday morning when she crashed her bicycle into a fence outside Discovery Elementary School in Sammamish, according to city officials.
The crash was reported just after 11 a.m. along 228th Avenue Southeast. The woman was riding along the sidewalk when she hit a fence. Eastside Fire and Rescue responded and evaluated the woman at the scene. She was taken to a local hospital for further treatment.
There were no other vehicles involved, according to fire officials.
