Small Earthquake Struck Near Issaquah Sunday

People felt shaking in Seattle, Tacoma, Kirkland, and other local cities.

ISSAQUAH, WA - A small earthquake struck the region around 5 a.m. Sunday.

A preliminary report indicated the quake was a magnitude 3.3. Its epicenter was along I-90 in the North Bend area, about 19 miles east south-east of Issaquah.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, people as far as Seattle, Kirkland, and Tacoma reported that they felt the shaking.
