Forecasts predict snow through Friday on the I-90 pass.
ISSAQUAH, WA - If you're heading over Snoqualmie Pass Thursday or Friday, prepare for snowy conditions.
The Washington state Department of Transportation is forecasting some significant precipitation for the pass over the next two days. However, the forecast indicates the weather should clear - but very cold - on Christmas.

Thursday night: Rain and snow in the forecast with snow levels near 2,000 feet. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches expected. Light winds.
Friday: Snow level drops to 1,500 feet with accumulations between 1 and 2 inches. Freezing temperatures during the afternoon. Total snow accumulation between 3 and 6 inches.

Friday night: Rain showers with snow levels dropping to 200 feet after midnight. Light wind.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain. Snow levels remain near sea level. Freezing temperatures in the afternoon with light wind.

Christmas Day: Sunny but cold. High of 21 degrees.
