Snoqualmie Pass Reopened After Accidents: UPDATE

Authorities closed eastbound I-90 at milepost 47 Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. for about 45 minutes due to accidents and poor driving conditions. Snoqualmie Pass has been hammered by snow since Monday, but the state department of transportation was reporting that road conditions varied from slush to compact snow.

Forecasts call for snow all night in Snoqualmie Pass, tapering off by 6 a.m. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the pass, which is in effect until 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Around 7:30 p.m., Washington State Patrol was not giving out an estimate for when the pass would reopen.

According to the WSDOT Snoqualmie Pass website, traffic was moving again around 8:15 p.m.
