Snoqualmie Pass Closed: 1 Dead In Crash, Multiple Crash Scenes
A messy rain-snow mix was falling Friday morning at pass-level.

ISSAQUAH, WA - WSDOT closed Snoqualmie Pass early Friday morning due to icy conditions and multiple crashes. The pass was tentatively scheduled to open around 12:30 p.m., according to WSDOT.
According to state patrol, one person was killed in a crash in the eastbound lanes near milepost 64. In total, there were six crash scenes. Three semitrailers and three cars were involved, according to Trooper John Bryant.
I-90 is closed eastbound at milepost 34 in North Bend, and closed westbound in Ellensburg at milepost 106.

Friday could be a treacherous day at Snoqualmie Pass. The forecast calls for a rain snow mix at pass-level throughout the Friday turning to snow later tonight.
