Traffic Alert: Oversize Loads Will Slow Issaquah Traffic

Trucks delivering large oversize loads will slow traffic in Issaquah's main shopping district off SR 900.

ISSAQUAH, WA - Drivers headed through Issaquah near SR 900 should prepare for traffic slowdowns Tuesday and Wednesday. Trucks carrying oversize loads will be in the area of SR 900 and East Lake Sammamish Parkway between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. both days.

The trucks are delivering arches for the Southeast 62nd Street project. According to the city of Issaquah, the trucks will leave I-90 at SR 900 and travel north, make a right on Northwest Sammamish Road, and then make a right down East Lake Sammamish Parkway to Southeast 62nd Street.

Traffic in some of Issaquah's busiest shopping areas will be affected, including near PCC, Costco, and Fred Meyer.

The trucks will be delivering construction pieces approximately every half hour throughout each day. The pieces will support the East Lake Sammamish Trail underpass.
