In an effort to ensure a merry holiday for more local children, residents are encouraged to bring any new, unwrapped toy for the Toys for Tots toy drive. Toys for Tots is a program run by the United States Marine Corp Reserve which distributes toys to children who may otherwise not receive gifts for the holidays.

“Very Merry Sammamish is a special event that gives us a chance to celebrate our great community with families, friends and neighbors,” said Mayor Christie Malchow. “As we celebrate, it is a joy to also provide opportunities for our generous community to participate in Toys for Tots, helping to make the holidays special for even more families.”
