Viewfinder: Marymoor Velodrome Gears Up for New Racing Season

The wheels are spinning on a new racing season at the Velodrome at .

This summer's Friday Night Racing Series — a local racing tradition featuring world-class athletes — begins this Friday, June 3. Last Friday marked the end of the track's preseason racing, and Patch.com contributing photographer Dave Greer was there to capture some of the action. There's also racing on Thursday nights.

The velodrome has been in operation at Marymoor Park since 1975 and is operated by the nonprofit Marymoor Velodrome Association. Classes and racing are available for all skill levels. Visit the velodrome website for more information.
