Our beloved Thomas Christian Beatty died on Sunday, August 11, 2019. While his death was unexpected, we are so grateful for the time we had with him and will forever cherish him and his place in our family.
Tommy was born on April 30, 2003, in Cleveland, Ohio. He lived in Cleveland for 4 years, Tucson, Arizona for 3.5 years, moved to Washington State at 7 years old and settled in Sammamish when he was 9 years old.
Tommy was an amazing person. He had vast and varied passions and interests. He loved to snowboard, skateboard, wake surf, wakeboard, mountain bike, make jewelry and other handiworks. He was endlessly inventive and creative. Whether he was on the slopes of Whistler, the waves of Lake Sammamish, operating his RC plane, working with his forge or just fixing broken things, he was always exploring and creating. He also loved traveling with his family and experiencing new places including: Hawaii, Fiji, Costa Rica, China, Nicaragua, France and England.

It is impossible to describe Tommy’s greatness through writing. Tommy had a big heart, a quick wit and a sense of humor like no other. He loved making people laugh and making gifts for others out of metal, wood and other materials to show his love.
Tommy truly loved his family and friends. He loved his brothers and sisters and had so much joy growing up with them. He loved his baby sister Addie. He spent endless hours making her laugh and looking out for her.
