Event Details

1250 1st Ave S, Seattle, WA, 98134

The Tunnel to Towers Foundation will have a public ceremony outside of T-Mobile Park in Seattle, Washington at the Hot Corner at 4:00 PM PT as part of it's Steel Across America tour, a coast-to-coast commemoration honoring the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

The ceremony will feature a 21-foot, 16,900-pound steel beam recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center, retired FDNY firefighters who responded to 9/11, and son of fallen 9/11 firefighter Stephen Siller, Stephen Siller Jr. The tour will travel over 10,500 miles and to 35 cities across 21 states from May 2nd through September 11th.

Following the ceremony a veteran of America's armed forces and their family will throw the group first pitch before the Seattle Mariners take on the San Francisco Giants. A ticket is required for the game, but not for the steel ceremony prior.
