SEATTLE, WA — The Seattle May Day protest tradition continues this year with a number of rallies, marches and demonstrations planned for Monday. Seattle May Day protests are usually punctuated with some sort of violence, be it vandalism of corporate property or, as was the case last year, physical violence. So whether you're looking to participate in the protests or avoid them, here are some of the planned events for May Day 2017 in Seattle (and this year actually features an pro-Trump event).

The March and General Strike on May 1st are among several coordinated events happening in communities across the State of Washington, which include Yakima, Olympia, and Bellingham."
