SEATTLE, WA — Seattle is getting a fifth cashier-free Amazon Go store. The company said on Monday that the new location will be at Madison Street and Minor Avenue near the Swedish campus on First Hill.
Amazon also said that it will open two new Chicago locations soon, and is planning an Amazon Go store for the Embarcadero in San Francisco.
The first Amazon Go store opened in early 2018 at 7th Avenue and Blanchard Street near the company's South Lake Union headquarters.

To enter a Go store, download the Amazon Go app and link it to your debit/credit card. Then, just walk inside, pick out what you want, and leave. A network of cameras and sensors track what you pick out — or put back — and charges you through the app when you leave.
The new First Hill store will be about 1,150 square-feet, slightly smaller than the original 1,400 square-foot location. Amazon did not say when the store would open.
