SEATTLE, WA—The owners of the popular bakery Piroshky Piroshky announced Sunday they would be temporarily closing down their Century Square location due to safety concerns for the establishment's employees.

The decision was made just hours after a shooting death in the 300 block of Pine Street, near the bakery's 1501 4th Ave., Suite 110 location. Piroshky Piroshky also posted videos on Twitter of people using drugs right outside of the bakery's windows.

"Due to another shooting, countless safety concerns for our employees we have no choice but to close 3rd location until further notice," the owners of Piroshky Piroshky wrote on Twitter on Sunday.

Earlier Sunday, the owners of the bakery said on Twitter that they had asked people to move from in front of the establishment, and even called security and police. However, neither showed up. They said the shooting in the area was the third in a month.
