Puget Sound Set Rain Record Saturday

Even by Pacific Northwest standards, Saturday was incredibly rainy across the entire region.

SEATTLE, WA - Puget Sound broke a decades old rainfall record on Saturday during a day-long barrage of precipitation.

According to the National Weather Service, Saturday was the rainiest April day in 22 years. It was the fourth-wettest April day since the weather service started keeping records. Sunday will be a much lighter rain day, with only a 60 percent chance of showers after 11 a.m., according to the NWS.
