Seahawks Face Divisional Rivals In Week 5

After a so-so start, the Seahawks face a tough L.A. Rams team.

SEATTLE, WA - The Seahawks' (2-2) offense appeared to get on track last week, blowing out the hapless Indianapolis Colts 46-18. This week the team will face a tough divisional opponent on the road, the L.A. Rams (3-1). After years of mediocrity, the Rams' offense has looked explosive under first-year coach Sean McVay, with the team coming off a win against the Dallas Cowboys last week.

“We’ve seen the Rams play really good football in the start of the season,” Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. “They have been explosive on offense and really control the ball. They lead the league in scoring, which is a tremendous turnaround for their program, but also just a great job by Sean and what they had done with the offense in short order."

Rams' running back Todd Gurley has returned to form this year. After underperforming in 2016, he's now second in the league in rushing yards. Quarterback Jared Goff has also taken strides forward this year.
