Kaepernick Joining The Seahawks? Kneeling Still A Stumbling Block
Kaepernick would not say if he would stop kneeling if the Seahawks hired him, according to ESPN.

SEATTLE, WA - The Seattle Seahawks have postponed a planned workout with quarterback Colin Kaepernick, reportedly because Kaepernick would not say whether he would stop kneeling if hired by the Seahawks.
That doesn't mean Kaepernick won't ever work out with the team, ESPN reported Thursday. Kaepernick, formerly the San Francisco 49ers quarterback, has been jobless since the end of the 2016 season. Controversially, he kneels during the national anthem.
"I am not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses black people and people of color. To me, this is bigger than football and it would be selfish on my part to look the other way," Kaepernick said of his protests in 2016.

ESPN first reported the news Thursday:
The Seahawks had contacted Kaepernick about two weeks ago to arrange a visit to the team's headquarters, but after tentative arrangements were made and travel planned, the trip was unexpectedly scuttled over the Seahawks' last-minute stipulation regarding Kaepernick's anthem stance, a source told ESPN.
The Seahawks are searching for a backup quarterback after firing Trevone Boykin last month. Boykin is under investigation in Texas for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend.
