Hundreds Of Marijuana Plants In Seattle Police Protective Custody
Seattle police are taking good care of a crop of over 800 marijuana plants found growing illegally at a South Seattle home.

SEATTLE, WA - A big crop of stolen marijuana plants are in safe hands today.
Seattle police recovered 814 pot plants after chasing two would-be burglars from a home in the Hillman City neighborhood Tuesday morning.
Police responded to a home along the 4200 block of South Kenny Stret around 2 a.m. after a witness spotted two men crawling through a basement window there. When police arrived, they announced their presence, and the two men emerged from the home and tried to run away.

The burglars were caught after a brief foot chase, Seattle police reported. The officers found the marijuana crop when they went back to search the home. In addition to the 814 plants, police found four bags containing 240 grams of marijuana in the home.
The police arrested the burglars and seized the pot. Detectives are investigating the illegal grow operation.
