SEATTLE, WA - A Seattle woman originally from Bainbridge Island died Tuesday after being shot at the Route 91 Harvest Festival in Las Vegas Sunday. Carrie Parsons' brother, Jeff, confirmed his sister's death in a Facebook post Tuesday.

"This is all pretty fresh so this post is just going to be an update. We have news that my sister Carrie has passed away due to her wounds as part of the shooting in Vegas. We have no more news, as we are not yet permitted to see her. Neither I, nor my family will be available to talk for some time. Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and space," he wrote.

Parsons was a huge fan of the country artist Eric Church, who she was able to see at the Route 91 festival on Friday.
