Sneak Peek: Inside The T-Mobile Park Transition
T-Mobile is transforming the stadium formerly known as Safeco. See what they're doing before opening day.

SEATTLE, WA - The smell of stale beer leftover from last season was still in the air Wednesday morning, but workers were busy making changes inside the home of the Mariners as T-Mobile re-brands the stadium in its magenta image.
T-Mobile officials gave a press tour of the park on Wednesday. And while it's clear there's still a lot to get done before opening day on March 28, the company has already put its mark on everything from concessions to entry points.
Here's what we saw inside the park during a sneak preview of the season to come:

We'll start at the entrance. T-Mobile has highlighted the express entry gates along Royal Brougham Way in the company's iconic magenta hue.

Literally the biggest change that you'll notice is in the outfield. A big T-Mobile logo has replaced the Safeco logo. The local Tube Art Group made all the new signs.

Workers were still installing the larger signs on Wednesday, including the main exterior sign at Edgar Martinez Drive and 1st Avenue.

Some overhead signs will remain colored with the familiar Mariners green, but of course with the new name of the park.

A maintenance worker touches up a pillar near The Pen. This was the only pole we saw painted like this, but expect others by opening day.

The new signature T-Mobile-Mariners cocktail. It costs $12.50, but comes with a flashing magenta ice cube.

Of course, T-Mobile wants you to buy its products. Near The Pen, you can hit a ball off a tee, and the simulator will tell you how fast the ball went compared to the speed of 5G wireless service.

Mariners opening day is March 28 at 4:10 p.m. against the Boston Red Sox. Seattle's Macklemore will play, and make sure to bring $12.50 for your T-Mobile cocktail.
