Voting Today? Don't Mail Your Ballot, Experts Say

OK, so you've waited until the last day to vote. Experts don't recommend using mail to return your ballot today.

SEATTLE, WA - You want your vote to count, right? If you're returning your ballot on Election Day, it's probably not a great idea to put it in a mailbox.

Why? Because your ballot might not make it to the post office in time to get a post mark, and then your ballot won't be counted. Local county election officials are recommending that voters on Election Day should find their nearest drop box to submit ballots.
