Washington Brewers Win Big At 2018 World Beer Cup Awards
Brewers from Seattle, Kirkland, Bellingham and others took home prizes for unique styles of beer in the international competition.

SEATTLE, WA - If you pay attention to the craft beer scene, you know that many brewers are beginning to experiment with new flavor combinations and brewing styles. Now, strong sour ales, barrel fermented pales, and wheat ales are popping up on tap lists around Puget Sound alongside traditional lagers and IPAs.
Washington brewers who won awards in the 2018 World Beer Cup are certainly a reflection of that.
Local brewers took home awards for rarer beers like maibock, double-red ale, and coffee beer. Beer makers from brewery strongholds like Seattle and Bellingham took home many awards, but some new brewers got recognized, too.
